Local Nature Reserve
Chinley will have a Local Nature Reserve. After much hard work by the Friends of Chinley Park, the Parish Council, at the end of March 2008, received the approval of High Peak Borough Council's Executive for delegation of power to the Parish Council to declare Stubbins Park, Stubbins Lane, Chinley as a local Nature Reserve. The declaration will be made shortly and its launch is scheduled for Saturday 26th July 2008.

Mrs Brenda Wise is your Parish Clerk. She works
from the Parish Room, 3 Lower Lane, Chinley on a part-time basis.
She can be contacted by post, telephone or e-mail as per the details at the bottom of the page.
She is available to speak to in the Parish Room between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on Monday afternoon (excluding Bank Holidays) or at other times by arrangement.
